Criteria for Eligibility
Afghan people with a strong academic background are invited to apply. The candidates must meet the following qualifying requirements.
Bachelor’s degree

  • Candidates must possess 12 years of schooling or its equivalent.
  • The age restriction is 17 to 23 years as of the application closing date.
  • The minimum required scores for general courses should be 60% according to the IBCC Pakistan equivalency method, whereas for Medical and Engineering disciplines, it should be 65%.
  • Medical and engineering students are required to meet the PM&DC and PEC criteria of 60% and 65%, respectively.

Maseter degree:

  • The age restriction is 35 years.
  • Completed 16 years of schooling. A minimum CGPA of 2.5 or its equivalent on a 4.0 scale is necessary for a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (16 years of schooling).

Ph.D. Degree:

  • The age restriction is 35 years for non-faculty members and 40 years for faculty members.
  • Applicants must possess a minimum of 18 years of study, namely an MS or MPhil degree.
  • A minimum CGPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is necessary for the MS/MPhil degree.

  • To enable Pakistani institutions to recruit students from neighboring nations for superior education.

Important Note:

  • Scholarships will be granted based on merit.
  • Candidates must possess the necessary academic qualification by the closing date.
  • Candidates with a foreign qualification must submit an equivalency certificate from IBCC Pakistan or HEC Pakistan to the University.
  • Scholarships for Ms/Ph.D. will not be granted in Clinical Medical Sciences.
    To get admission to the Ph.D. program, the student must have pursued the same discipline in their MS/M.Phil program.
  • Candidates now receiving or who have previously received any other HEC or Government of Pakistan scholarship are unable to apply.
  • The selected recipients must sign a formal agreement with the Government of Pakistan to finish their studies and return to Afghanistan at the conclusion of their degree in Pakistan.
