About the Scholarship at SDU

The SDU Danish Government Scholarship offers an excellent chance for international students to study in Denmark. What are the Benefits of the Danish Government at SDU Scholarship?

  • Complete Tuition Fee Exemption: The entire tuition fee will be exempted for the entire duration of the program.
  • Partial Tuition Fee Reduction: Applies to the second and fourth semesters; students are responsible for payment for the first and third semesters.
  • Waiver Scope: The waiver covers 30 ECTS credits for each semester.
  • Excess ECTS: Any ECTS exceeding 30 credits per semester will not be included in the waiver.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for the Danish Government Scholarship?

  • To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must be citizens outside the EU/EEA.
  • You need to submit an application for one of the qualifying Master’s programs at SDU.
  • You do not need to submit a separate scholarship application, your application for admission suffices.

  • Applications that are incomplete or submitted after the deadline will not be eligible for the scholarship.
