Financial Benefits of HAN Scholarships 2026
- HAN Scholarships provide financial support for skilled non-EU/EEA students studying for bachelor’s or master’s degrees.
- Bachelor students are eligible for a maximum of €12,500 from the HAN NL Scholarship and €7,500 from the Honors Scholarship.
- Master’s students can receive as much as €5,000 from the HAN NL Scholarship and €2,500 from the Honors Scholarship.
- The Honors Scholarship is granted automatically due to academic achievement, with no need for a separate application

- The scholarship is available for international students not from the EU/EEA.
- Applicants seeking this scholarship must pay the increased tuition fees.
- Candidates must not possess a degree from an educational institution in the Netherlands.
- Candidates must not have been previously registered in a degree program at a university or university of applied sciences in the Netherlands.
- Students need to be admitted to a full-time degree program taught in English at HAN.
- Candidates are required to attain a minimum IELTS score of 6.5, a TOEFL iBT score of no less than 90, or possess a Cambridge Certificate (CAE or CPE).
