The Indonesian Aid Scholarship (TIAS) is currently accepting applications, providing an excellent opportunity for international students to further their education overseas. This scholarship is available to all international students from qualifying citizens of Papua New Guinea (PNG). What are the PNG–Indonesia Bilateral Scholarships 2025-2026 Eligibility Criteria?
- Must be a national of Papua New Guinea
- Must not be an active or planned member of the military while the study is conducted.
- Must hold a valid PNG passport that has a minimum of 18 months remaining validity.
- An official medical report certifying good health must be submitted.
- Must secure a support letter for English proficiency from DHERST.
- Required to provide a police clearance certificate or a comparable document.
- Must be prepared to undergo additional medical examinations if chosen.
Applicants for the Diploma Program:
- Must be 25 years old or younger by 31 July 2025.
- Must dedicate to preserving marital status to fully concentrate on studies.
- Required to present a high school diploma (issued within the last 5 years)
- Highly recommended: At least 2 years of experience in PNG public service.
- An official endorsement letter from DHERST or the employing agency must be submitted.
- Provide the certificate of employment, if relevant.
Applicants for Applied Bachelor and Bachelor Programs:
- Must be 30 years old or younger by 31 July 2025.
Candidates for the Master’s Program:
- Must be 42 years of age or less by 31 July 2025
- Cannot already possess a master’s degree
- Must provide bachelor’s degree certificate or its equivalent.
