Who Is Eligible for the Helmut Veith Stipend?

  • Women with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Mathematics (or equivalent, Bologna first cycle).
  • Robust foundation in mathematics and technical disciplines.
  • Demonstrated interest in at least one of the research fields of Helmut Veith.
  • Topics of interest encompass: Logic in Computer Science, Formal Methods and Verification, AI Foundations, Complexity Theory and Algorithms, as well as Computer Security.
  • Competence in English, evidenced by a TOEFL (or comparable) certificate or a degree delivered in English.
  • Willingness to live in Austria during academic semesters (exceptions may be allowed with permission).
  • Dedication to academic achievement, demonstrated by attaining an average of no less than 25 ECTS credits each semester.
  • Grade point average must not exceed 1.5.
