Scholarship Description:
The Russian government offers international applicants enrolled in bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and post-doctoral programs the Open Doors Scholarship in Russia. For the 2025 competition, over 6300 winners were chosen. Applications are accepted from candidates internationally. There is no cost to apply. The opendoor scholarship winners will receive a complete scholarship to pursue bachelor’s, master’s, doctoral, and postdoctoral studies at their selected Russian university. Additionally, students are free to work in Russia.
A residence permit will also be granted to them.

Scholarship Criteria
· The scholarship is available to all citizens.
· Master’s Track: You must be enrolled in or have completed your bachelor’s degree program.

· PhD (Doctoral) Track: A master’s or specialist’s degree is required, or you must be pursuing
one during the competition’s academic year.
· Bachelor’s Track: Your general secondary education must be finished or ongoing.

How to Apply?
· Make an account to register online.
· Fill out your portfolio and complete the admission exam that is linked to your account.
· Kindly provide all relevant documentation.
· The portfolio cannot be edited after the deadline, which is November 16, 2026.
· Winners will be asked to solve the second stage following the portfolio’s results release.
· Winners will be chosen to study for free in Russia following the examination of the second
age and interview.
University Selection:
Your application will be moved to the next institution of your choice if the top priority university does not offer the course of study you have selected. You can select one to six institutions when enrolling to participate.
