About the Scholarship
Applications are now being accepted for the University of Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships. This scholarship is available to all international students, including Australian Citizens, Australian Permanent Residents, New Zealand Citizens, and permanent humanitarian visa holders. This scholarship is offered in every bachelor’s program across all faculties.
The Summer Research Scholarships at the University of Adelaide seek to give undergraduate students the opportunity to work in a research team and motivate them to pursue postgraduate studies that lead to a research-oriented career.
This program provides a total of 240 scholarships for continuing undergraduate students. This award lasts six weeks, and chosen candidates will conduct a research project during the summer break of 2025-26.

Eligibility Requirements University of Adelaide Summer Research Scholarships

- Candidates must be registered in a Bachelor’s degree program at the University of Adelaide (equivalent or non-degree courses do not qualify).
- Students need to have finished a minimum of one year (24 units) of their program with academic performance adequate for entry into an Honours program.
- Candidates must be formally registered at the University of Adelaide in the year 2025.
- Applicants must not have finished their Bachelor’s degree when applying.
- To obtain the scholarship, applicants need to possess a valid and active visa (for international students) that allows them to study in Australia after February 2026.
