Kazakhstan Scholarship description:

The Kazakhstan Scholarship for International Students, including from Afghanistan and Other Countries will accept applications from 30 March to 31 May 2026, according to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Applications for full-time study at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels are accepted from international students living in Kazakhstan.. This scholarship, which pays tuition costs and a monthly salary for accepted applicants, is offered to international students by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of RK. The following are the annual total allocations:

• Bachelor’s degree: 490

Requirements for Kazakhstan Scholarship for international students:

Applicants should meet the following eligibility criteria to apply for this program:

• Hold the nationality of any country from around the world.
• Be persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
• Evidence confirming the secondary in a ‘good’ manner for an undergraduate degree program.
• Bachelor’s diploma or specialist with a minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent in previous education for a Master’s degree program.
• Master’s degree with at least a GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or equivalent in previous education for a Ph.D. degree program.
• International certificate proving foreign language knowledge for master’s degree and Ph.D. programs.

Requirements for Bachelor’s Degree Program:

Applicants must be registering for the first time at each educational level and supply.

• An accurate identity document (including, if required, a refugee certificate).
• Academic transcripts and certified translations in English, Russian, or Kazakh, as well as at least a secondary education grade of “Good.
• A motivating essay in English, Russian, or Kazakh.
• One recommendation letter from a school or employer.
• An HIV/AIDS clearance and a health certificate for international students, completed application, and, if available.
• An invitation letter from a university in Kazakhstan.

Master’s degree:

Applicants must be registering for the first time at each educational level and supply:

• An appropriate identity document.
• Academic documentation and certified translations (in English, Russian, or Kazakh) from a school with an acceptable GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• A motivating essay in English, Russian, or Kazakh.
• Two recommendation letters from a school or workplace.
• An HIV/AIDS clearance and a health certificate for international students
• Completed the application.
• An invitation letter from a university in Kazakhstan (if available).
• Evidence of foreign language ability (if necessary):
• English: TOEFL iBT (≥46), TOEFL PBT (≥453), IELTS (≥5.5).
• German: TestDaF (B2), DSH (B2).
• French: TCF (≥50 points), DELF (B2), DALF (B2), and TFI (≥B2 in reading and hearing).
• HSK (≥Level 4) in Chinese. Exemption:
• If previous schooling was completed in the language of the program, no certificate is needed.

Ph. D Program:

Applicants must be registering for the first time at each educational level and supply:

• Educational Materials.
• A valid identity document.
• academic documents and certified translations (in English, Russian, or Kazakh) from a school with an adequate GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
• A motivating essay in English, Russian, or Kazakh.
• Two recommendation letters from a school or workplace.
• an HIV/AIDS clearance and a health certificate for international students.
