The University of the People is delighted to announce that we are awarding 1,000 free online bachelor’s degree scholarships to Afghan women.
We aspire to enhance educational engagement among Afghan women who are frightened by the Taliban’s control of their country, thanks to generous donations from our supporters.
The idea that education is a basic right for everyone led to the formation of the University of People. UoPeople established itself as a non-profit, tuition-free, and American-accredited online university to provide high school graduates with affordable and accessible higher education opportunities. It offers a variety of high-demand bachelor’s and master’s degree programs. The University of People now has over 75,000 students from over 200 nations and territories.
As a non-profit university, the university does not charge tuition or enrollment fees, and all course materials are accessible for free online. The university charges a nominal one-time application fee ($120 for each undergraduate course and $240 for graduate-level courses); however, these fees will be waived for Afghan women who are given scholarships.
